Cautions Using:

1. Heavy oils will burn out pump. Recommended usage on 15-40 oil or thinner viscosity. Heavier oils need to be near running temperature= s to be scrubbed. Should have= a minimum of 1.0 gpm otherwise start overheating pump.

2. If oil is extremely dirty it may be cheaper to change oil vs. scrubbing oil because of filter costs.

3. If machine is difficult to drain oil or time consuming to scrub oil, it ma= y be easier to simply change the oil.

The Oil Transfer System is a unique, mo= bile filtering system that’s very easy to use. We trial used the OTS to add over 200 gallons of hy= draulic oil to a reservoir tank on our new 4-rotor miner. We took oil samples before the oil entered the= filtration unit and after the oil was scrubbed. We found that the OTS improved the oil with a general d= ecrease of contaminants from an ISO 17/14 to an ISO 16/13 cleanliness level= . (*OTS Note– The very unusual, clean synthe= tic oil they speak of is over $2000 a drum and far cleaner than typical new= oil) This decrease= was achieved with only using two filters in a single pass filtration. The usage of the filters on clean= oil was minimal with a 1.0 psi increase on the lead filter and zero increa= se on the second. In general = we cleaned our new oil almost twice as clean and we had very clean oil to b= egin with. It was hands on pr= oof how the Oil Transfer System can assist our goal to reduce maintenance c= osts and save money.

We found the unit easy to move around a= nd convenient to use. The dri= p pan catch tray is an excellent way of feeding the oil into the system to = be cleaned.

Today we are changing oil on our mobile= heavy duty equipment underground every 100 hours of usage. We are currently testing the possibilities o= f extending our oil changes on this equipment by scrubbing the oil after 10= 0 hours of use and changing the oil after 200 hours of use. The Oil Transfer Unit will maintain the oil = to increase the service life expectancy plus ensure that our machines are r= unning clean oil. Our oil and= maintenance costs will decrease significantly.

As an example we had a Falk gearbox red= ucer that we flagged from oil sampling as having very contaminated oil, plu= s the reducer was running overly hot. = ; As a test we drained the oil into the Oil Transfer System and scru= bbed the oil using two filters in a single pass filtration. The oil sample results were astonishing. In one pass of the oil through t= he Oil Transfer System we went from a 25/14 ISO level to an 18/13 ISO level= on average. And we could hav= e done better by adding more filters and recycling the oil through the unit= for a second time. The resul= ts were as follows:

After the oil was filtered the reducer has been monitored we= ekly with an infrared camera. The reducer now runs at least 13 degrees Fahrenheit cooler as a result of = cleaning our reducer oil. The= oil samples also proved that we reduced our sediment in the oil from 600mg= /L down to 20 mg/L. We learne= d that the sediment was mostly fines from our processing and the reducer wa= s improperly stored as a spare unit. = Again the results prove that preventative and predictive maintenanc= e will reduce costly maintenance and rebuilds. By doing our test we potentially saved thousands by not h= aving to pull the reducer out of service, rebuild the reducer or having an = unexpected circuit shutdown.

We are pleased with the proven results of the Oil Transfer U= nit and are actively modifying our preventative maintenance routines to inc= lude using this helpful tool.
